Behind every Snarkpaws design is a single observation that turned into a sentence. For the Black Cat tee that reads 'My camera can't focus on him. Where this design came from
The 'My camera can't focus on him. Neither can I.' line traces back to a 2 AM forum post that had 612 upvotes and a working ER vet phone number in the third comment. We didn't invent it, we curated it — the Black Cat community had already done the writing, in fragments, across years of comments, posts, captions, and group chats. Our job was to recognize the pattern, settle on the cleanest version of the line, and put it on something you can wear to the vet.

Why this exact line, this exact breed
Generic pet humor — 'I love my dog' — has been saturated since approximately 2008. The Etsy ocean has swallowed all of it. Breed-specific humor, specifically the anxious mom cross-cut of breed-specific humor, is less saturated and more fun to write.
