'The frog dog, gestural.' is not a slogan. It's a sentence one French Bulldog owner said about another French Bulldog owner, accurately, in front of a third French Bulldog owner who laughed because it was already happening in their own house. We wrote it down, sanded the edges, and put it on 6.1-oz garment-dyed cotton. Pen-and-ink portrait series. The tee is the punchline; the breed is the setup; the household is the entire premise. What we were going for with the identity angle
The reclaimed-stereotype tee — the joke the community keeps telling about itself is a real archetype inside the French Bulldog owner community, and it's distinct from generic 'pet person' merch. We wanted a tee that felt like it had been written by the household, not for the household. Frenchies frog-dog on the kitchen tile and consider it a complete sentence is the kind of observation only the household makes.

About the tee itself
